Occidental residents can receive free chipping either through FSO’s partnership with Safer West County and our Calfire grant, or through Sonoma County’s free chipping program!

Free chipping allows you to remove debris that could otherwise be fuel during fire season when burn piles are not allowed. If you are interested in participating, apply through www.SaferWestCounty.org/grants or apply for the next round of County chipping here!
